This V-Bucks price calculator compares every V-Bucks pack in US dollars, euros and pounds, shows which one is the best value, and works out the cheapest way to pay for an Item Shop item or the most V-Bucks a budget can buy. It uses the pack sizes Epic introduced on March 19, 2026.

V-Bucks prices in 2026

Since March 19, 2026, each pack costs the same as before but contains fewer V-Bucks:

Epic also sells exact amounts at 50 V-Bucks for $0.99 or €0.99, up from about $0.50 before the change. We could not confirm the UK price for that option. Euro prices are the ones listed in Germany, and US prices do not include sales tax.

Which V-Bucks pack is the best value?

The bigger the pack, the less you pay per V-Buck. In US dollars, 1,000 V-Bucks cost $11.24 in the 800 pack, $9.58 in the 2,400 pack, $8.22 in the 4,500 pack and $7.20 in the 12,500 pack, so the biggest pack gives you about 56% more V-Bucks per dollar than the smallest. In pounds, the same steps are £8.74, £7.29, £6.22 and £5.60 per 1,000.

If you only want one item, the cheapest mix of packs that covers it usually costs less overall.

How to use the calculator

1. Pick your currency. The calculator guesses it from your browser language.
2. To price an item, enter its V-Bucks price and how many V-Bucks you already have. You see what the item is worth at pack rates and the cheapest mix of packs that covers the gap.
3. To plan a purchase, enter a budget. You get the most V-Bucks it can buy, the money left over, and what the next step up would cost.
4. Tick the Epic Rewards box if you pay through Epic's own checkout to see the credit you get back.

How the numbers are calculated

For an item, the calculator tests every combination of packs and keeps the cheapest one that gives at least the V-Bucks you are missing. If two cost the same, it keeps the one with more V-Bucks. The budget tool does the reverse and finds the combination with the most V-Bucks that fits your budget.

"Worth at pack prices" multiplies the item price by the cost per V-Buck of the biggest and smallest packs. You can only buy whole packs, so the top-up cost is what you would actually pay.

Epic Rewards are shown as 20% of the pack price, rounded down to the cent. That matches the amounts listed when the new packs launched, such as $1.79 back on the $8.99 pack.

Tips for spending less

• Combine small packs when it is cheaper. Two 800 packs ($17.98) cover a 1,500 V-Bucks item for less than one 2,400 pack ($22.99).
• Finish the Battle Pass. It costs 800 V-Bucks, and since March 2026 completing it gives 800 V-Bucks back, enough for the next one.
• Know what Crew includes. Fortnite Crew now gives 800 V-Bucks a month instead of 1,000.
• Use Epic Rewards. Paying through Epic on PC, Android, iOS or the web gives 20% back as credit for Fortnite, other Epic games or the Epic Games Store.
• Old gift cards keep their value. V-Bucks cards bought before the change are redeemed for the amount printed on them.

How much is 1,000 V-Bucks?

There is no 1,000 V-Bucks pack anymore. At pack rates, 1,000 V-Bucks cost between $7.20 (12,500 pack) and $11.24 (800 pack). The cheapest way to get at least 1,000 is two 800 packs for $17.98, which gives you 1,600 V-Bucks.

Which V-Bucks pack is the best value?

The 12,500 V-Bucks pack for $89.99, €89.99 or £69.99 is the best value. It works out to $7.20 per 1,000 V-Bucks, compared with $11.24 for the 800 pack.

Did V-Bucks prices go up in 2026?

Yes. On March 19, 2026, Epic kept the pack prices but cut the V-Bucks in each pack: the $8.99 pack went from 1,000 to 800 V-Bucks, and the $89.99 pack from 13,500 to 12,500. Epic said the cost of running Fortnite had gone up.

How much is the Fortnite Battle Pass in real money?

The Battle Pass costs 800 V-Bucks, which is exactly the smallest pack: $8.99, €8.99 or £6.99. Since March 2026, completing it gives you 800 V-Bucks back.

How much does a 1,500 V-Bucks skin cost?

If you have no V-Bucks, the cheapest way is two 800 packs for $17.98 (€17.98 or £13.98), leaving 100 V-Bucks spare. At pack rates, 1,500 V-Bucks are worth between $10.80 and $16.86.

Do old V-Bucks gift cards still work?

Yes. Gift cards bought before the March 2026 change are redeemed for the V-Bucks amount printed on them.
